Alba in solitaria,…. Come da routine 
alla scoperta di una Chilliwack deserta e solo per me. Molti scorci spettacolari e tanti tanti murales inaspettatati. Davvero una cittadina carina e ben tenuta.

Davvero una cittadina carina e ben tenuta.Colazione, spesa e si parte in direzione Kamloops, con un paio di hiking segnati dall’Italia. Il primo, breve, ci riserva una cascata davvero molto bella, immersa nella solita foresta pluviale davvero particolare per noi. Nel rientro alla macchina, abbiamo anche un inaspettato incontro con 2 cerbiatti
. Continuiamo il nostro avvicinamento alla nuova base, passando per Hope, città famosa per le tante scene girate qui del film Rambo. La cittadina molto graziosa e colorata è tenuta in maniera maniacale . Picnic nel suo parco centrale e via al trail che ci attende: Othello Tunnels

)= All'inizio del 1900, la Canadian Pacific Railway decise di collegare la costa meridionale della Columbia Britannica con i Kootenay e fu determinata l'opzione migliore era un percorso attraverso la gola di Coquihalla. Oggi, il percorso non ha più binari ferroviari ed è stato restaurato come parte del Kettle Valley Railway Trail, un popolare percorso che segue le vecchie linee ferroviarie su cavalletti e tunnel ed è noto per il suo graduale cambiamento di elevazione. Purtroppo siamo stati vincolati alla sola visita di 2 tunnel, per un suicidio avvenuto dopo il terzo tunnel un mese fa ed ancora soggetto ad indagini
. Questo è stato uno di quei percorsi inaspettati e diversi, ma che alla fine ci hanno lasciati con il fiato sospeso.

Sunrise alone... As usual , discovering a deserted Chilliwack, all to myself. Lots of spectacular views and so many unexpected murals. A truly charming and well-kept town.
, discovering a deserted Chilliwack, all to myself. Lots of spectacular views and so many unexpected murals. A truly charming and well-kept town.Breakfast, groceries, and off we go towards Kamloops, with a couple of hikes marked from Italy. The first, short one, offers a truly beautiful waterfall, immersed in the usual rainforest, truly unique to us. On the way back to the car, we also have an unexpected encounter with two deer. We continue our approach to the new base, passing through Hope, a town famous for the many scenes from the movie Rambo filmed here. This charming and colorful town is meticulously kept. (History) = In the early 1900s, the Canadian Pacific Railway decided to connect the southern coast of British Columbia with the Kootenays, and it was determined the best option was a route through the Coquihalla Gorge. Today, the route no longer has rail tracks and has been restored as part of the Kettle Valley Railway Trail, a popular route that follows the old railway lines on trestles and tunnels and is known for its gradual elevation changes. Unfortunately, we were limited to only visiting two tunnels due to a suicide that occurred after the third tunnel a month ago and is still under investigation. This was one of those unexpected and different routes, but one that ultimately left us breathless.
