Week end tra alcuni dei borghi del basso Lazio, ma per questa breve uscita si va in gruppo .

Prima tappa Sermoneta, incastonata tra i Monti Lepini, è uno dei borghi medievali più caratteristici ed affascinanti della provincia di Latina. Un borgo circondato da mura, colli d’ulivi e dominato da un imponente castello tra i più importanti e meglio conservati del Lazio. Il centro storico di Sermoneta nasce nell’Alto Medioevo come villaggio fortificato, divenne il florido feudo dei Caetani, storica famiglia laziale. Ci dirigiamo subito verso il suo imponente Castello: Castello Caetani di Sermoneta. Una splendida visita guidata ci riporta indietro nel tempo e ci fa scoprire moltissimo sul territorio e la vita del luogo. Conservato maniacalmente è davvero piacevole la sua visita. Ci perdiamo fino ad ora di ora so nel borgo antico di Sermoneta tra strade e vicoli acciottolati e negozietti tipici. Sosta per pranzo tipico e ci spostiamo verso Norma. Ma prima effettuiamo una visita all’ Abbazia del Valvisciolo davvero molto molto bella ed in posizione dominante sulla vallata. Arrivati a Norma anche qui giro libero tra il borgo ed il centro storico sempre molto ben conservato ma essendo festa alcune chiese erano chiuse quindi ci co vediamo del sano relax in uno dei tanti locali affacciati sulla zona pedonale baciati dal sole. Sermoneta Historic Center - Norma

Weekend among some of the villages of lower Lazio, but for this short outing we go in a group .

First stop Sermoneta, nestled between the Lepini Mountains, is one of the most characteristic and fascinating medieval villages in the province of Latina. A village surrounded by walls, hills of olive trees and dominated by an imposing castle among the most important and best preserved in Lazio. The historic center of Sermoneta was born in the Early Middle Ages as a fortified village, it became the thriving fiefdom of the Caetani, a historic Lazio family. We immediately head towards its imposing Castle: Castello Caetani di Sermoneta. A splendid guided tour takes us back in time and lets us discover a lot about the territory and the life of the place. Maniacally preserved, its visit is truly pleasant. We lose ourselves until now in the ancient village of Sermoneta among cobbled streets and alleys and typical shops. Stop for a typical lunch and move towards Norma. But first we visit the Valvisciolo Abbey, really very beautiful and in a dominant position over the valley. Once in Norma, here too, free tour between the village and the historic center always very well preserved but since it was a holiday some churches were closed so we see ourselves some healthy relaxation in one of the many places overlooking the pedestrian area kissed by the sun.
